Founded in 2021, Agora Energy Transition China develops feasible and science-based proposals to advance the clean energy transition and climate neutrality in China and internationally, with a focus on clean power system transformation, industry decarbonization, and regional energy transition. We are also committed to building the capacity of peer professionals in our research fields and promoting the net-zero transformation of state-owned enterprises in China’s energy sector. Based on the profound expertise of our research team as well as our extensive network of contacts, we advise decision-influencers and facilitate a productive exchange of ideas among key stakeholders. Because no single institution can tackle the complexity of the transition from fossil fuels to renewables and to climate neutrality, Agora China cultivates an intensive dialogue with stakeholders from politics, civil society, the economy, and science and is active in global network promoting the net-zero transition.
