





Title: Program Officer, Changchun
Reports to: Regional Program Head, Changchun
Location: Changchun
Main Responsibilities:
• Working with team to develop and implement strategic plan.
• Assist Regional Head to develop concepts and proposals relevant to sustainable development.
• Assist project leaders to develop project annual work plans and budgets.
• Develop and maintain project documentation and database serving as an information source for WWF family.
• Working with team preparing financial and technical reports as required.
• Assist communication colleagues for development of sound communication strategy and participate in communication activities when needed.
Qualifications:
• A master’s degree or above in ecology, conservation biology is preferred.
• At least two years’ working experience or more in environmental conservation, community development or related fields is preferred.
• Skill in GIS application is preferred.
• Basic competency of project management.
• Understanding conservation issues in China.
• Excellent language skills in Chinese and English.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic learning ability.
• Adaptive to frequent field travel.
• Dynamic, creative, proactive, credible, accountable and outgoing personality and commitment to nature conservation
Working Relationship:
• Internal: Immediate line manager, team members. Also work closely with other members of Changchun regional program, other WWF colleagues and WWF Network colleagues.
• External: Regular interactions with project partners, government officials, other NGOs, local communities, donors, etc.
