主要内容｜Seminar Synopsis:

    南加州大学Sol Price公共政策学院始建于1929年，是历史最悠久、最有声望的公共政策学院之一，在2017年的美国新闻和世界刊物排名中，南加州大学Sol Price公共政策研究生院在全美272所大学的公共事业管理学院中排名第4。在此次宣讲会中，副院长Rush女士将会和同学们分享南加大Sol Price公共政策学院的社会创新研究案例，探讨大学与公共部门和私人企业合作的价值及社会意义。这些案例包括著名的南加大施瓦辛格国家与全球政策研究所（USC Schwarzenegger Instistute）、Berdosian研究中心、Schaeffer卫生政策和经济中心（Schaeffer Center for Health Policy and Economics）、大都会交通研究中心（Metrans Transportation）等。在本次宣讲会中，副院长还会详细介绍南加州大学公共政策学院各类学术项目，包括硕士项目7个、行政硕士项目3个以及博士项目2个。

    The Sol Price School of Public Policy at USC is one of the most distinctive and highly regarded schools of its kind in the United States. U.S. News and World Report ranks the Price School No. 4 among 272 schools of Public affairs. In this seminar, Dean Rush will share examples of research on social innovation in public policy of USC Sol Price School and to discuss the value of public/private partnership and how they benefit the society. The examples including the prestigious USC Schwarzenegger Instistute, Berdosian Center, Schaeffer Center for Health Policy and Economics, Metrans Transportation and so on. The academic programs, including 7 Master’s programs, 3 executive Master programs and 2 Ph.D programs, will also be introduced during the seminar.

主讲人简介｜Speaker Biography:

Carol Rush，南加大Sol Price公共政策学院副院长， 主要负责该学院的学生事务，包括指导、管理学生事务的策划实施、负责相关教职人员的培训等等。同时，她还负责院长、高级员工以及南加大学生事务等方面的协调沟通工作。

Carol Rush is the Associate Dean for student affairs in USC Price School of Public Policy. She leads student affairs manager, directs the planning, implementation, and management of student administrative services for the school; oversees the training and development of all student affairs personnel; serves as liaison to the Dean, senior staff, and to the university on student affairs issues.
