Lawyer, Environment and Climate

This exciting and challenging role offers a law professional the opportunity to join ClientEarth and be a member of our China Programme team. Our China office was registered with the Ministry of Public Security in June 2017, under the supervision of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, in accordance with the Overseas NGO Management Law. The successful candidate will support further building a portfolio of judicial capacity building initiatives in China.  

To be successful in this role, you will need to master the relevant environmental, legal and policy terrain and will play a crucial role in designing and implementing our various legal workstreams, such as supporting environmental rule of law development in China through our partnerships with various stakeholders in the Chinese government and judiciary.
