The Marketing and Events Coordinator at the South China chapter covers the development of the Chamber's branding, the organisation of Marketing and Communications Forum, as well as the coordination of the Chamber’s events in Shenzhen. It also includes responsibilities to Shenzhen office’s administration and accounting management.

*This position is in Shenzhen, with occasional trips to other cities in Guangdong.

Salary range: 8k -10k, before tax

MARKETING

·        Promote the chamber activities/events by designing flyers, managing promotion timeline, developing relationship with marketing channels.

·        Provide and manage the content for multiple social media platforms, including e-newsletter (South China Focus), WeChat official account, etc.

·        Collaborate with membership colleagues to refresh the Chamber’s official branding materials and update members’ branding content. Develop strategic plan to enhance the visibility of South China members and event sponsors.

·        Contribute to South China event report and regional highlights for the EuroBiz magazine and the Voice newsletter.

·        Work together with media colleagues to coordinate the Media and Marketing cross-chapter call.  

Marketing and Communications (MarCom) FORUM:

·        Define the MarCom forum strategy with the forum Chair and Vice Chair.

·        Understand the members’ interests in the MarCom Forum activities and maintain relationships with forum members.

·        Organize MarCom events including event scheduling, speaker coordination, and event promotion.

·        Update and develop the MarCom distribution lists and monitor the potential members of this forum.

EVENTS COORDINATION:

·        Managing event page content and registration list, coordinating with venues and speakers.

·        Support event execution including on-site setup and registration, etc.

·        Assist with post-event follow-up, accounting, and event summaries drafting.

OFFICE MANAGEMENT:

·        Prepare and manage both online and offline meetings, including setting up devices and taking minutes.

·        Assist in managing the office accounting and liaising with the finance department.

·        Manage the procurement of daily office supplies, handle maintenance requests for office devices and liaise with the management office; ensure that all offices related files are up-to-date and easily accessible.

Skills & experience

• Creative mind and outgoing character, team player.

• University degree; Knowledge and experience of international trade; Excellent written skills in both English and Chinese; Organisational and presentation skills.

• A previous working experience is preferred, at events organising company, Chamber of Commerce or international organisation will be a plus.

• Knowledge of the design software such as Canva, Xiumi, PS, AI is preferred.

• Good command of the Microsoft Office and basic IT skills.
