经历十年,爱丽丝剧场实验室的「教育剧场」渗入了具改革性的布莱希特「史诗剧场」及「教育剧」概念,融合英国「教育剧场」(TIE) 的理论及实行模式,再配合「教育戏剧」(DIE) 的教学策略,将香港戏剧教育的文化提升至最高点,并加入编作剧场创作路向,从而自行发展出一套切合香港教育的艺术教育机制,在实践的同时,更以出版展现每个戏剧计划的蓝图及实行方法,多年来得到政府、教育界、艺术界的支持。是次讲座将会透过演说配以录像回顾及解构爱丽丝剧场实验室十年来的教育历程。

A Decade of Theatre Education Pursuit

Portray the world with imagination. Change the world by taking action.

Based on ten years of experience, the Alice Theatre Laboratory has evolved its own Theatre in Education (TIE), which suits the Hong Kong education system, by embedding Brecht’s revolutionary concepts of Epic Theatre and Learning Play in the customised British TIE theories and execution format. With the application of Drama in Education teaching strategies as well as Devising Theatre to text development, its TIE projects have highly enriched the Hong Kong education culture. In line with the good practices recognised by the Government, Education and Art sectors, all the TIE productions have been documented and published. In the seminar, the Alice Theatre Laboratory will illustrate its long and winding TIE road in the past decade through a multi-media presentation.

陈恒辉

爱丽丝剧场实验室艺术总监。毕业于香港演艺学院戏剧学院,主修导演,获颁艺术学士(荣誉)学位,凭毕业作品《浮石传》获校内杰出导演奖。2003年成立爱丽丝剧场实验室,专注于富实验性的导演工作。

近年导演爱丽丝剧场实验室的作品包括2007年《贝克特的无声与呢喃》(七个贝克特短剧)、2008年《荒诞派剧场二重奏》(伊奥尼斯高《课堂惊魂》及品特《山岳语言》)、《卡夫卡的七个箱子》及《第三帝国的恐惧和苦难》、2009年《贝克特的回光与足迹》(四个贝克特短剧)及《卡夫卡的七个箱子》(重演)、2010年《侍女》、《卡夫卡的七个箱子》(上海及北京演出)及《巴索里尼的一千零一个夜晚》、2011年《第三帝国的恐惧和苦难》(重演)。

2002-2011年创作、导演及制作了十个「教育剧场」节目,包括《理想之国「卡比利亚」》(2002年)、《月宫宝盒》(2004年)、《以眼还眼?》(2005年)、《野孩子》(2006年)、《罪与罚》(2006年)、《鸦片战争》(2007年)、教育剧场版《走向共和》(2008年)、《五四运动》(2009年)、《始皇帝的最后一夜》(2010年)及《戏说三国》(2011年)。以上作品都能够成功地发扬布莱希特的「教育剧」理念。

早于2001年,陈氏已经开始编写及出版戏剧书籍,与陈瑞如合着的作品超过二十部,例如有《戏剧教育》(嘉昱,2001年) 及《戏剧教室》(热文潮,2003年) 等。最新作品是为同名制作所编着的《贝克特的无声与呢喃》、《荒诞派剧场二重奏:导赏手册》、《卡夫卡的七个箱子:导赏手册》、《第三帝国的恐惧和苦难:号外》、《贝克特的回光与足迹:导赏手册》、《巴索里尼的一千零一个夜晚:导赏手册》及《第三帝国的恐惧和苦难(重演):号外》等。

2009年凭《卡夫卡的七个箱子》获得「第十八届香港舞台剧奖」最佳导演奖(悲剧∕正剧)及「第一届香港小剧场奖」最佳导演奖。2011年凭《巴索里尼的一千零一个夜晚》提名「第三届香港小剧场奖」最佳导演奖。

Andrew Chan Hang-fai, Artistic Director of the Alice Theatre Laboratory, graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) with a BFA (Hons) in Directing. He was awarded Outstanding Director from the Academy for his graduation production Woyzeck. Chan established Alice Theatre Laboratory in 2003, and has focused on directing experimental plays.

His recent directing works include Beckett on Stage: Silence & Whisper (7 short plays by Samuel Beckett, 2007), The Theatre of the Absurd Double Bill (Ionesco’s The Lesson, Pinter’s Mountain Language, 2008), Seven Boxes Possessed of Kafka (2008 première; 2009 rerun in HK; 2010 rerun in Shanghai and Beijing) and Brecht’s The Fear and Misery of the Third Reich (2009 first run; 2011 rerun), Beckett on Stage: Reminiscence & Traces (2009), The Maids (2010) and 1001 Nights of Pasolini (2010).

From 2002 onwards, Chan has created and directed ten TIE productions, namely “Cabiria” An Ideal Country (2002), (Treasure Box) (2004), An Eye for An Eye? (2005), Wild Child (2006), Crime And Punishment (2006), Opium War (2007), On the Way to Republic (2008), The May Fourth Movement (2009), The Last Sunset of the First Emperor (2010) and Romance of the Three Kingdoms (2011). All these productions successfully achieved Brecht’s Learning Play concepts.

Since 2001, Chan has published more than 20 publications with Chan Shui-yu, such as Drama Education: Let Children Learn and Grow Through Drama (2001), Drama Classroom: Drama-in-Education Manual for Senior Primary School (2003). The other publications include appreciation handbooks for the stage productions of Alice Theatre Laboratory and reports of all the TIE projects.

In 2009, Chan was awarded Best Director in the 18th Hong Kong Drama Awards and in the 1st Hong Kong Theatre Libre with Seven Boxes Possessed of Kafka. With 1001 Nights of Pasolini, he was also nominated for Best Director in the 3rd Hong Kong Theatre Libre.

陈瑞如

爱丽丝剧场实验室行政总监。1994年毕业于香港演艺学院戏剧学院,主修表演,获颁专业文凭。2007年获英国伯明翰中央英格蘭大学教育戏剧硕士学位。在演艺学院修讀演技期间凭《圣女贞德》及《创奇者》兩次获得校内杰出演员奖。陈氏曾为中英剧团全职舞台演员,演出多部舞台剧。2003年成立爱丽丝剧场实验室(前身为1998年成立的爱丽丝教育工作室),专注剧场演出之余,亦分别为本港的学前、小学、中学及大学机构设计、编写、开设及任教富先导性质的戏剧课,同时担任戏剧师资培训班导师和进行戏剧教学视导的工作。早于2001年已开始编写及出版戏剧书籍,出版作品超过二十部。此外,亦担任剧本翻译的工作,翻译作品有毕希纳《浮石传》及贝克特《结局》、《呼吸》、《无言剧I》及《无言剧II》、品特《山岳语言》等。2009年凭《卡夫卡的七个箱子》于「第一届香港小剧场奖」荣获最佳女主角奬。

Chan Shui-yu, Administrative Director of the Alice Theatre Laboratory, graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) with a BFA (Hons) in Acting. In 2007, she received a Master Degree in Drama in Education from the University of Central England in Birmingham. Chan was awarded Outstanding Actor by HKAPA with her Academy performance Saint Joan and Miracle Worker. Upon graduation, Chan worked as full-time Actress for the Chung Ying Theatre Company. Chan established Alice Theatre Laboratory in 2003, which was evolved from the Alice Education Studio established in 1998. Designing and teaching pilot drama curriculum for preparatory, primary, secondary and tertiary schools, Chan has launched a number of Theatre-in-Education programmes, in which she was involved as teacher trainer and Drama in Education advisor. Since 2001, Chan has published more than 20 drama publications with Andrew Chan. Chan is also a translator of Büchner’s Woyzeck, Pinter’s Mountain Language, Beckett’s Catastrophe, Breath, Act without Words I and Act without Words II. In 2009, Chan was awarded Best Actress in the 1st Hong Kong Theatre Libre with Seven Boxes Possessed of Kafka.

梁智聪

爱丽丝剧场实验室戏剧及剧场教育发展主任。2007年毕业于香港演艺学院戏剧学院,主修表演,获颁艺术学士(荣誉)学位。2002年修毕香港教育学院(中学教育证书),并获检定教员证明书,成为注册教师。在演艺学院修讀期间,参演了多部中外名剧,曾获颁发香港演艺学院友谊社奖学金及成龙奖学金,亦获香港佛教联合会颁发「弘法使者」奖学金。毕业后,除专注戏剧演出外,亦为本港中、小学担任课程设计、师资培训及教学视导等工作。

Eric Leung Chi-chung, Theatre Education & Development Officer of the Alice Theatre Laboratory, graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) with a BFA (Hons) in Acting. Before enrolling in HKAPA, he received a Certificate in Secondary Education from the Hong Kong Institute of Education and is a qualified teacher. While studying In HKAPA, he participated in a number of Academy productions and received several scholarships. Alongside working as an actor after graduation, Leung has also been involved in designing and teaching drama curriculum for preparatory, primary, secondary and tertiary schools, as well as training teachers.

黄颖文

毕业于英国朴茨茅斯大学,主修英文。曾任中英剧团宣传主任。现为香港专业教育学院青衣分校语文中心英语讲师。2004年成立快乐王子,自编自导Reborn及Happy Prince等儿童英语音乐剧,近期编写音乐剧Alchemy及改编莎士比亚The Tempest为音乐剧。2004年起开始监制爱丽丝剧剧场实验室舞台演出及教育剧场制作,并翻译多出戏剧大师如贝克特、布莱希特、伊奥尼斯高及品特之剧目。

Wong Wing-man graduated from the University of Portsmouth, majoring in English. Upon graduation, he worked for the Chung Ying Theatre Company as Publicity Officer. At present, he is a Language Centre Lecturer for the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education. In 2004, he established Happy Prince Playgroups and staged two English Musicals with students, namely Happy Prince and Reborn, written and directed by Wong. His recent works include Alchemy (an English musical) and The Tempest (an English musical adapted from Shakespeare’s classic play). Since 2004, Wong has been Producer of Alice Theatre Laboratory’s stage and TIE productions. He also translated a number of contemporary classic plays written by Beckett, Brecht, Ionesco and Pinter.

剧团介绍

爱丽丝剧场实验室(Alice Theatre Laboratory)为香港艺术发展局资助团体,致力制作富实验性的戏剧演出。成立于2003年(前身为1998年成立的爱丽丝教育工作室)。2008-2011年度的制作中,《卡夫卡的七个箱子》(首演、重演、上海及北京演出)、《第三帝国的恐惧和苦难》(首演及重演)、《贝克特的回光与足迹》、《侍女》及《巴索里尼的一千零一个夜晚》等皆获得外间的高度评价,分别在香港舞台剧奖和香港小剧场奖获多项提名及奖项。期间更获邀到内地演出及交流;亦被CNNGo评为本地五个独特的香港剧团之一。

剧团亦专注于推行崭新戏剧教育方法。率先于2000年在本地推动教育戏剧及戏剧科,并从2002年开始制作适合于本土举行的教育剧场节目。

Alice Theatre Laboratory (ATL) is a Hong Kong theatre company, that receives yearly grant from the Hong Kong Arts Development Council. ATL is devoted to experimental performances. In the 2008-2011 seasons, Seven Boxes Possessed of Kafka (première, rerun, Shanghai tour and Beijing tour), Fear and Misery of the Third Reich (première and rerun), Beckett on Stage II: Reminiscence & Traces, The Maids and 1001 Nights of Pasolini were critically acclaimed and nominated for and received a number of awards for the Hong Kong Drama Awards and the Hong Kong Theatre Libre. The company was also invited to perform in the mainland for cultural exchange. Recently, CNNGo has acclaimed ATL as one of the five most watchable Hong Kong theatre companies.

ATL is a pioneer specialising in Drama and Theatre Education. Promoting Drama in Education and Drama as Subject, ATL has been producing Theatre-in-Education programmes that suit the local education system since 2002.
