嘉宾/讲座介绍：
Ramji 先生以创新的企业模式在印度的农村推广教育。他创办的社会企业Agastya运用高科技领先教育手段在农村普及教育，甚至推广到偏远村落,已覆盖到印度700,000孩子和40,000老师。Ramji 先生将与大家分享该故事，与大家共同探讨此社会创新模式能否适用于中国农村的教育普及，如何让公益更具持久性。Ramji 在成为社会企业家之前，在纽约创办过投资银行，曾在花旗、摩根斯坦利任职。
Ramji provides creative, hands-on education to poor children and teachers - education that’s distinct from the theoretical, rote-based learning prevalent in rural India. His approach sparks curiosity and engages children in creative thinking and inquiry. With a focus on moving from ‘teaching’ to ‘learning’, the foundation has developed innovative approaches in its pioneering Science Park near Bangalore, such as mobile science labs that go into the rural areas to teach. His work has reached more than 700,000 children and trained 40,000 teachers. Mr. Raghavan will discuss how his scalable method achieves systemic change in a rural context and how this method might apply to China..
Before Agastya, Ramji has worked as co-founding a New York based investment bank and broker-dealer, he has also held positions at Citibank, Cedel Group, and Morgan Stanley & Company International Limited.
