General Responsibilities:

The Project Manager in Tianjin Chapter will be responsible for building and maintaining close relation with both Chinese and European stakeholders, to lead on major projects, to develop and enhance member relations, to strengthen European Chamber public image in Tianjin Chapter. Project Manager will report directly to General Manager in Tianjin Chapter.

Responsibilities:

· Work with and support the General Manager on government affairs.

· Work with and support the Membership Manager, create and deliver membership renewal and recruitment campaigns to meet Tianjin chapter revenue targets.

· Support to create and maintain relationships with potential and existing members.

· Work with and support the Event Manager with event design, on-site management, including registration, welcoming, and logistics support.

· Pre-events support, including: Updating the biographies of the speakers and logistics support.

· Post-events support, including but not limited to: invoicing support, event summary and event photo gallery work.

· Attend European Chamber and other external events representing the Tianjin chapter.

· Participate in project work as required by the team, such as: research on potential topics, WeChat content design for event promotion, member news, etc.

Other duties as required by the employer.

Qualifications

· Native Mandarin speaker with outstanding English speaking and writing skills. Other European languages are a plus.

· At least 2 years of related experience in a customer relations role.

· Good knowledge and use of Excel.

· Strong knowledge and interest in the business environment.

· Self-starter, confident, diplomatic, modest, service oriented, people person.

· Willing to travel occasionally.

· Excellent project management and time management skills.

· Outstanding verbal and written communicator.

· Strong planning and analytical organisation skills.

· Responsible, professional, open-minded, and strategic thinker.

· Professional appearance and demeanour.

· University degree in related field (international relations, business, communications, marketing, economics, political science, languages etc.)
