INVITATION TO TENDER

Save the Children UK, locally known as European Union Programme Support ( EUPS) Unit Two in The Democratic Peoples’ Republic of Korea (DPRK) invites suppliers who are interested in providing any of the following items to contact EUPS Unit Two for further details

Items Required:

Project Reference: EC CO- Funding “Integrated Rural Health DPRK – 2008/ 2009”

For delivery to Tanchon County, South Hamgyong Province, DPRK

General Lot 1: Mattress: High density mattresses and linoleum for floor.

General Lot 2: Blankets: Blankets and baby pillows.

General Lot 3: Birth Supporting Items: Pillows, cushions and others.

General Lot 4: Kitchen Utensils: Various types of kitchen utensils.

General Lot 5: Sports Items: Footballs, Volleyballs, Basketballs, softballs etc.

Any supplier interested should contact the EUPS Unit Two office by close of business, (17:00 hours 23^rd of July 2009) for further details, regarding exact specifications, tendering procedures and collection of tender documents.

Interested parties should note that the delivery time from signing the contract is between four to six weeks.

It will be the responsibility of the supplier to transport the goods to the warehouse of Project County. Therefore they will be responsible for arranging all transportation and customs clearances. EUPS Unit Two cannot take any responsibility for transportation and customs clearances.

The last date for tender submission will be close of business on (17:00 hours 11^th of August 2009).  The Tender opening will be on 12^th of August 2009 and contract will be signed with successful bidder within 17^th of August 2009   with a delivery date of 2^nd week of September.
