让我们一起参与推动中国慈善行业迈向可持续发展的第一步！在 动手做慈善——如何评估草根公益项目和进行有效捐赠的研讨会中，您将有机会去体验基金会的决策过程。在研讨会中，您会探索三个非营利的草根项目：它们分别活跃在环境建设、青少年道德教育和机构能力建设领域。您将与其他朋友、同龄人、同事、亦或对公民社会发展怀有热情的人士，共同探讨上述三个项目的价值，并设计和确立一套框架，对三个项目进行评估。最终，您们将会共同决定支持哪个项目，并把基金投入到所选定的草根组织中。通过对话、交流和有效捐赠，您将会推动在中国农村开展的草根公益项目的发展。

演讲嘉宾：来自巴迪基金会的筹款官员王端、首席代表安小雨、高级项目主管周鹏将会介绍中国公民社会, 并且展示他们支持的三个草根项目。巴迪基金会是一个非政府、非营利组织，致力于在中国释放个人和机构的潜能来推动社区发展。自1990年起，该基金会已经培养诸多人士，通过培育以社区为基础的基层组织，从而释放农村妇女及青少年的潜能以推动社区的发展。您可以通过浏览巴迪基金会的官方网站： www.badi-foundation.org 来了解更多的信息。

How to Evaluate Grassroots Projects and Give Effectively

Take the first step in moving China's philanthropic sector in a more sustainable direction. In Hands On Philanthropy: How to Evaluate Grassroots Projects and Give Effectively, you will have the unique opportunity to experience the decision-making process of a foundation. You will discover three grassroots non-profit programs that cover issues in environmental action, educational empowerment, and institutional capacity building. Along with a group of friends, peers, colleagues, or people who care about the development of civil society, you will discuss the programs' value and develop your own framework for evaluating them. Finally, you will collectively determine which program to support and direct funds to the selected organization. By engaging in dialogue and giving effectively as a group, you will advance the development of grassroots programs in rural China.

Speakers: Fund Development Officer Suzannah Wang, Chief Representative Shareen Ahmed Farhad, and Senior Program Officer Zhou Peng from Badi Foundation will provide an introduction to China's civil society and present three grassroots projects that they support. Badi Foundation is a non-governmental, non-profit organization dedicated to releasing the potential of individuals, institutions and communities in China. Since 1990, the foundation has been nurturing individuals to build community-based organizations that empower and build capacity in both rural women and rural youth. Philanthropy in Motion (PIM) is founded by two Yale alumni with the mission to mobilize young professionals and university students to engage in effective, collective giving through dialogue and direct action. PIM creates an interactive space for students and young professionals to experience and experiment with making decisions as part of a giving circle.
