第四届中国健康、环境与发展论坛暑期研修班将于2012年7月15日-21日在贵州省贵阳市举办。研修班将向参加者介绍关于环境健康问题的不同学科研究方法，评估若干已完成和正在进行的研究，突出各种多学科方法的优势和不足。研修班由领域内不同学科背景的专家主持，包括：流行病学、医学地理学、风险管理、经济学、社会心理学、公共政策、社会学和人类学。我们欢迎国内学术机构（包括政府研究中心）和非政府组织的个人申请参加。申请人应在25-40岁之间，具有硕士以上学位或同等学力的相关工作经验。申请人应具有在环境健康问题研究方面的培训或工作经验。申请者请于2012年5月15日之前登录FORHEAD网站在线申请。具体要求请访问这里：

-FORHEAD Summer Institute 2012

The FORHEAD is pleased to announce its forth Summer Institute on Researching Environment and Health: Concepts, Methods, and Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration will be held from July 15th – July 21th, 2012 in Guiyang , Guizhou Province. The Summer Institute will introduce researchers to different disciplinary approaches to researching environmental health issues, including key concepts and methods and evaluate a number of previous and ongoing studies, highlighting the strengths and weakness of various approaches to interdisciplinarity. Applications are invited from individuals based at Chinese academic institutions (including government research centres) and non-governmental organizations. Applicants should be between the ages of 25-40 and have at least a Master’s degree or equivalent work experience. They should have demonstrated training and/or experience that prepares them to study environment and health problems. Applicants should apply online through the FORHEAD website by May 15th, 2012. -SSRC第五轮合作资助项目

社会科学研究协会（SSRC）中国环境与健康项目（CEHI）即将展开第五轮合作资助项目。我们将对来自中国的机构组织的申请对象提供15项左右，每项约为5,000-15,000美元的资助（总额100,000美元），这些资助将为促进实现学科间的以及研究机构和政府/民间机构间的合作提供补充性资金。本轮合作资助特别鼓励与十二五规划背景下产生的一系列政策及相关行动有关的研究。路度多已有一些本年度的项目申请有两种方式：通过FORHEAD暑期研修班/提案准备研讨会提交提案草稿；或直接提交合作资助申请。暑期研修班的申请截止日期为2012年5月15日；直接提交合作资助申请的截止日期为2012年8月28日。申请者请于截止日前登录FORHEAD网站在线申请。具体要求请访问这里：

-SSRC Fifth Round of Collaborative Grants Program

The China Environment and Health Initiative (CEHI) of the Social Science Research Council (SSRC) is pleased to announce the fifth round of its Collaborative Grants Program to stimulate the generation and dissemination of policy and practice-oriented research on environment and health in China . Up to fifteen grants in the amount of $5,000-15,000 (total of $100,000) will be made to applicants located at Chinese institutions. Grants will provide funds to enable policy- or action-oriented research, including collaboration between research institutions and government or civil society organizations. The Funding Criteria for this round include a special focus on initiatives that engage with policies generated by the 12th Five Year Plan. The Collaborative Grant Program has 2 application streams: through the Forum on Health Environment and Development (FORHEAD) Summer Institute/Proposal Preparation Workshop with a draft proposal; and direct application to the Collaborative Grants Program. The deadline for applications to the Summer Institute is May 15, 2012. The deadline for direct applications to the Collaborative Grants Program is August 28, 2012. -FORHEAD Website Feature 2: Environment and Health in the 12th Five-Year Plan

The outline of China’s 12th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development has been released on March 16, 2011, some sections of which include environment and health issues. Ministry of Environmental Protection, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Land and Resources, Ministry of Agriculture and other national authorities have also drawn up ministry or special 12th Five-Year Plans, including 12th Five-Year Plan for Environment and Health, 12th Five-Year Plan for Heavy Metal Pollution Prevention, etc. This Feature compiles relevant plans and their contents related to environment and health.

The 4th Biennial Conference of the International Association for Ecology & Health: Sustaining Ecosystems, Supporting Health will take place from 15 – 18 October, 2012 in Kunming , China .
