INVITATION TO TENDER

Save the Children, locally known as European Union Programme Support (EUPS) Unit Two in The Democratic Peoples’ Republic of Korea (DPRK) invites suppliers who are interested in providing any of the following items to contact EUPS Unit Two for further details.

Project Reference: SIDA Funded “Integrated Rural Health, DPRK – 2012”

For delivery to Sinpo County, South Hamgyong Province, DPRK

Items Required:

• Civil Construction Materials – e.g. cement, iron bars, GI wire, iron nails etc.

• Miscellaneous Construction Items – e.g. tiles, glasses, paints, etc.

• High Density Polyethylene Pipes (HDPE) and related fittings

• GI, PVC pipes and fittings

• Water Taps

• Plumbing and construction tools

Any interested supplier should contact the EUPS Unit Two office before or by close of business (17:00 hours 7th of February 2012) for further details, regarding exact specifications, tendering procedures and collection of tender documents.

Interested parties should note that the delivery time from signing the contract is between three to five weeks.

It will be the responsibility of the supplier to transport the goods to the warehouse of Project County. Therefore they will be responsible for arranging all transportation and customs clearances. EUPS Unit Two cannot take any responsibility for transportation and customs clearances.

The last date for tender submission will be close of business on 17:00 hours 17th of February 2012. The Tender opening will be on 22nd February 2012 and contract will be signed with successful bidder within 27th of February 2012 with a delivery date of 3rd week of March 2012.
