联合国民主基金 (The United Nations Democracy Fund) 接受资金申请

2006年4月启动的联合国民主基金是在2005年世界首脑会议期间成立的。作为该首脑会议的成果之一，联合国民主基金领受的任务是充当支持民间社会和联合国之间各种伙伴关系的赠款机制，以促进全世界的民主。秘书长交给联合国国际伙伴关系基金的任务是，确定民主基金的结构并提供关键监督和行政支助。联合国伙伴关系办公室于2006年接手了这些职责支持全世界建设民主的项目。民主基金进而明确其关注重点，并在与咨询委员会磋商并与联合国其他机构协调的情况下决定，它将集中资助民间社会组织，从而对联合国许多支持政府项目的方案作些补充。
联合国民主基金（The United Nations Democracy Fund）正在接受为促进和支持民主的公民社会组织提交项目建议书 。项目建议书正式在线提交时间是2011年11月15日至2011年12月31日。
联合国民主基金（The United Nations Democracy Fund） 可以提供为期2年项目周期的资助，最小可以申请5万美金，最多不超过50万美金，正常的批准范围一般不超过25万美金。
申请国家：面向所有国家开放，但是联合国民主基金（The United Nations Democracy Fund）一般倾向于为发展中国家、低等收入或中等收入国家、正面临更加严峻的民主问题挑战或者处于冲突地域的国家提供资助。

Window for new grant proposals open 15 November - 31 December
The United Nations Democracy Fund invites civil society organizations to submit proposals for funding for projects to advance and support democracy. Project proposals may be submitted on-line between 15 November 2011 and 31 December 2011. You can find guidelines, FAQs and lessons learned from previous rounds here. Only on-line applications in either English or French will be accepted. Click button below to apply.
Application Materials
UNDEF responds only to proposals that are submitted through its online applications system. The annual application window for 2010 is now open from 15 November - 31 December.
Application Form
The Online Project Proposal System is an on-line system that allows prospective grantees to submit their applications to UNDEF electronically. The Proposal System can be accessed through the UNDEF website by clicking here.
Project Proposal Guidelines
These guidelines describe the application procedure for UNDEF grants. Their purpose is to provide guidance to prospective applicants in the preparation of their proposals and thus to help the Fund select and support the best projects in conformity with the guidance of its Advisory Board.
