European Union Programme Support (EUPS) Unit 2 working in the Democratic Peoples’ Republic of Korea (DPRK) invites interested suppliers in providing any of the following items for the Greenhouse Augmentation Project Funded by EC AIDCO to contact EUPS Unit 2 for further details.

DPRK/AIDCO/Food Security Program/2010-Greenhouse Augmentation Project (GAP)

Items Required for delivery to Hamhung City, South Hamgyong DPR of Korea

Lot 1: Building materials (Cement, iron bars, etc)

Lot 2: Greenhouse structural materials (GI Iron tubes, glass, etc.)

Lot 3: Water supply and irrigation items (pipes, fittings, plastic tanks)

Lot 4: Tools

Any supplier interested should contact the EUPS Unit 2 office by the close of business from 8th February 2010 at 17:00 hours for further details, regarding exact specifications, tendering procedures and collection of tender documents.

Interested parties should note that the expected delivery time from signing the contract is between four to six weeks.

It will be the responsibility of suppliers to transport the goods to the site. Therefore suppliers are responsible for arranging all transportation and customs clearances. EUPS Unit 2 cannot take any responsibility for transportation and customs clearances.

The last date for submission of Tender Documents will be the close of business on 26th of February 2010 at 17:00 hours. The Tender Documents will be opened on 1st March 2010 and contracts with the successful bidders will be signed on or before 8th March 2010.
